The Ice Race Grand Championships on Potters Lake MI, the date has been moved to the following weekend of February 11 & 12.

HOWEVER in the event of thin ice on Potters Lake a contingency plan is in place with prearrangements to run the Ice Race on the West end of Lake Cadillac in the City of Cadillac Michigan on the same weekend. That location is William Mitchell State Park. Lake Cadillac currently has 9-11” of ice. Confirmation of location change will be on February 2.

Improving upon the original version Kold Kutter has made several changes including increasing the head height to .189", and to extend the life of our screws we have increased the Rockwell hardness, in addition for added strength longer length screws are available as a #10 screw. We have also made mold improvements to create the sharpest edges available in Ice Screws and remain AMA legal, available in 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4". 7/8", 1", 1 1/8", 1 1/4", and 1 1/2"

Recently Kold Kutter introduced the Kold Kutter Kanadian Ice Screw, as well as the Kanadian Ice Stud for automobile use. Keeping all the quality of the current Kold Kutter products and using a #12 screw, with a head height of .250", which is available in 1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2" and the new 1 1/4" 12/24 Kanadian Ice Stud with nuts.
